I have a friend who wanted to put real value in the Big Suprise. He wanted to fake her out so he keep taking her to nice restraunts and then after a bunch he said "I have to ask you something" and he reached in his pocket and she thought it was going to be the ring and he pulled out a tissue and blows his nose.

She ran to the bathroom and cried.

He eventually had a typical ending with a nice restraunt, horsebuggy ride central park and more water works.
